Quitting Smoking:

Thursday- 2 pouches Snus, 1 cigarette
good!

Friday- 2 pouches Snus, 1 cigarette
good, but it's only 5:20..

so far Snus has cut down my smoking by about 7 cigarettes a day. I haven't smoked in my car since Wednesday, and haven't bought cigarettes since Tuesday. I think I can, I think I can!

Sometimes, when I'm feeling responsible, I like to check my credit card transactions before I pay it off. So this morning I was scrolling down through my purchases, groceries-ok, liquor store-ok, Fuji San-ok, and then I get to this 8 cent charge at BK. 8 cents? What?

Last Saturday after my sister and I got our hair done we went through the drive through at BK and our total was 4.08. I gave the guy 8 pennies in change and gave him my card to charge the rest. It made sense to me, but I guess not to him. Sweet! The funny thing is I think he handed me a receipt with 8 cents charged on it and I didn't even bat an eye.

Come on dude, why on earth would I charge 8 cents worth of my food? Silly silly.

I finally got promoted

to serving at my work. I had to go in for an interview this morning where my manager basically told me that I only get one chance and if I mess things up then I'm done. I wasn't really sure how to take it but I just smiled and agreed with her. I kind of felt like it was a little rude though, since I have been busting my ass at work lately.

I have an econ test tomorrow and I'm kind of freaking out about it considering I got a C on the last one and this stuff is even harder. I don't know why, but econ just does not come naturally to me. Anyways, I guess I ought to go study. I just wanted to clear my head.

Brad got his license suspended

because he has 8 points now. His parents are talking about taking his car away, which was a gift for his graduation. I don't think they realize that they are punishing me because I'm the one who will have to drive him to work and school, or pay all of the rent if he quits his job.

He can request a hearing and then he will be able to drive until then, and will be able to ask the judge permission to drive to work and school.

I am trying so hard to graduate with latin honors. I have a paper and a test due this week, and my two term papers are coming due soon.

His mom was screaming at me on the phone because she opened his mail. I don't think she realizes that this is not her business.

I just don't know if I can handle all of this right now. I don't know what to do.
